Cast Iron Sewer Lines and Hot Side Slab Leaks
Two problems account for most of our Plano work. The first is cast iron sewer line. East Plano and the older sections around Haggard Park were built when cast iron was standard, and those lines are now well past the point where the pipe wall has scaled, cracked, or bellied. Repeated backups in the same line are the tell — a drain that clears and then backs up again in a few months is not a clog problem, it is a pipe problem.
The second is slab leaks on the hot water side specifically.
